DescriptionPermanent position for a Field Engineer to perform mechanical / machine tear down, build/rebuild and repair, pre-commissioning testing and procedures to meet customer requirements.
Responsible for planning and executing mechanical service sales and service marketing programs for mechanical process equipment, including agitators, mixers, millers, etc.
Responsible for all customer-related aspects from service on site, assembly and repair.
Work on maintenance, inspection, and operations of existing equipment to achieve reliable operations.
Act as a trusted mechanical service technician / advisor to customers and their technical staff.
Travel approximately 50% of the time performing field duties.
Assist with new machine builds in the shop and in-house repairs.
RequirementsBS Engineering preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in field service work for mechanical equipment, including testing and repair.
Experience performing new machine builds, tear downs, re-builds.
Solid working knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software (Salesforce).
Ability to travel in North America 40-50% of the time.
