We are currently seeking a results-driven Product Promotor to help us achieve sales target objectives in various product categories based out of our facility in Ramsey, New Jersey.
We are open to a fully-remote hire for this position as well, since travel will be 60% of the time (at company's expense) regardless of your location.
Key Accountabilities /
Responsibilities:
Achieve sales target objective in assigned product categories Develop a strategic plan for short term and long term growth for Wurth USA Inc.
product lines Timely and accurate development new products and new product training Create and maintain a database based on the existing transparent new product procedures Review the sourcing results for new products based on specific market segments Perform market research in collaboration with Division Management Develop a reporting system for new product sales Visit existing and potential customers for research Participate in sales and new product meetings Contribute to the annual marketing plan related to new products Review sourcing and meet with potential new suppliers Increase sales opportunities/options Expand product line Development of proper sales support materials related to product information.

Authority to launch new products after approval by means of coordinating through each department's responsibilities Authority to make changes to product development procedures Authority to provide training to internal and external employees Authority to purchase items according to company policy Authority to contact and negotiate with new vendors Authority to coordinate and determine actions for claims Skill / Competency Requirements:
Familiarity and skilled in product management and development procedures Understanding of relevant applications to determine customer needs Effective communication related to interdepartmental coordination of product launches Familiarity and skilled in developing databases to facilitate product development, new product evaluation Ability to negotiate pricing and volume quotes Business acumen Ability to build and analyze data to understand product / category performance Major Tasks and Duties:
Research new product opportunities and launch new products Conduct and evaluate product feasibility tests Review product samples purchased Develop product development and management guidelines and strategies Coordinate and communicate with Purchasing/Logistics/Marketing/Pricing/Division Management/Sales Force Analyzing product sales trends for new product and exiting product life cycles Develop and maintain Customer service database related to new products Source new suppliers Key Job Contacts:
