The Functional Medicine Center for Personalized Care, LLC (FxMedCenters.
com) is seeking a certified exercise physiologist to provide assessments and prescribe personalized exercise program with coaching to individuals who are seeking optimal health.
The clientele may present with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, depression, sleep disturbance, chronic stress are the most common ones.
They seek to improve health and to lose weight.
A certified exercise coach or personal trainer may apply for the job if there is experience working within healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a medical population and be certified in exercise physiology or exercise coaching.
We cannot accept applicants without certification.
You may set your own hours and they are flexible and can be arranged between you and the client.
When meeting in person you may choose any one of our four locations throughout northern NJ.
You must have flexibility with your schedule in order to accommodate requests for in-person or travel to the client's home if they so request.
You may also provide all services remotely.
The program is collecting data as part of a research program and there are a small number of candidates for the research.
There are clients as well as employees who will sign up for exercise coaching.
The candidates in the research program require that you make a long term commitment to remain until they complete your part of the research.
You will be entitled to the free healthcare services as are all employees.
You will have the benefit of working as part of a team to provide the full range of mind and body healthcare.

Experience:
assessing and providing exercise prescription:
1 year (Preferred) working in healthcare setting or clients with health issues:
1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:
ACSM Certification (Required) Certified Personal Trainer (Preferred) Shift availability:
